Thank you for helping make our annual Holiday Boutique a success once again. This year we served 101 clients through the shelter, transition and community programs. Each adult client received gift cards, pajamas and a self-care gift bag to remind them that they are important. The children were excited to get books, toys, games, and new clothing. We also had numerous clients ask for basic need items like cleaning supplies, diapers and toiletries. To manage COVID risk, advocates spoke with clients on the phone and put together gift packages for clients to pick up or even have dropped off at their homes, if that was more accessible.
While Sojourner staff facilitate the gifting process and organization of the event, 100% of the items gifted come directly from our community members and we're so grateful. It was a blessing to have moments of joy and hope to share with our clients. We all need a little extra support every once in a while and we're grateful to our community for stepping up with such generosity and consistency. We appreciate you!
