October 1st kicked off Domestic Violence (DV) Awareness Month. This is an important time to reflect on how DV continues to be a pervasive public health issue. It does not discriminate...it impacts all communities. We recognize that because DV is in all communities, we need to come together to find solutions and stand-up for victims and survivors of domestic violence.
This month, take the time to find out more about domestic violence, educate others, wear your purple and get involved. The HERE to see a a statewide list of events that are happening this month.
