Do
You Want to Help? |
| |
|
| |
There
are several ways you can help, including in-kind donation,
financial contribution, and volunteer service. |
|
|
| |
|
| |
|
| |
Although
Sojourner receives funding from state and local sources, the
funding provided does not cover all of the need and demand
for services from individuals and families in crisis. Sojourner
depends upon the support of the community
to help sustain its programs for victims/survivors of domestic
violence and their children. The combined generosity of businesses,
faith communities, private foundations, groups and individuals
helps us provide the necessary assistance. |
| |
|
| |
Below
are a few examples of how your financial contribution can
help: |
| |
| |
|
| $35.00 |
helps offset costs of
children’s activity groups |
| $55.00 |
helps to feed shelter
residents for one day |
| $250.00 |
supports time required
to obtain an Order for Protection |
|
| |
|
| |
Community
support is essential to the work we do. Please consider supporting
Sojourner in whatever way you can and for whatever you
can do, we say THANK YOU! All financial
gifts to Sojourner are tax-deductible.

Sojourner
depends on volunteers and has a variety of volunteer opportunities
available. The numerous contributions of volunteers represent
a community-wide resolve to support battered women and increases
awareness of domestic violence in our community. By fulfilling
a variety of roles, volunteers significantly expand the reach
and impact of Sojourner’s programs and services. Training
is provided for all volunteer positions and additional training
opportunities are provided several times each year. |
